Getting Started with carrotfunding.io is easier than you think. After introducing our approach to trader funding in previous posts, we are now diving into the need-to-know basics. In this post, we are going to be diving into the "need to know" basis, covering the use of our product and the main concepts to understand the first defi native trader funding firm.

carrotfunding.io is built with the following goals in mind:

  • To provide the fairest simulated trading environment for traders by leveraging decentralized infrastructure.
  • To provide funded traders with the possibility of scaling their trading strategy and backing them with real funds.
  • To provide traders with the widest access to crypto trading pairs in the industry.
  • To reduce counterparty risk by eliminating the opacity in traditional trader funding firms' operations.

carrotfunding.io wouldn't be worth using if it didn't provide a superior user experience and product. Nor would it be worth using without a superior "finance structure" than currently present in the traditional trader funding industry. It's important to have a basic understanding of these key elements that provide value and improve your trader funding experience.

This post will be plenty for a good understanding of carrot, so grab a drink and get ready to discover something worth paying attention to.

We will break it down into 3 sections: Trading Dashboard, Trading Terminal, and The Vault, each an integral part of our ecosystem.

I. Trading Dashboard

When you sign up for carrotfunding.io, you will land on your trading dashboard. This is where you can access new evaluations, monitor your performance on the existing ones, and manage your account settings and payouts.

In the trading dashboard, we provide an overview for you to monitor your performance and track your progress. This includes access to information such as Account Status and Stage (Evaluation, Verification, Funded), progress on Trading Objectives, Daily Reports, and Trade History for all active evaluations.

You can start a new evaluation and configure the evaluation parameters of choice, such as Account Size, Evaluation Type, and Trading Venue. The evaluation parameters you set here are fixed and can not be changed later on. After configuring your evaluation parameters and completing the payment, the evaluation card will instantly become visible on your trading dashboard.

By selecting the evaluation card, you will be able to check your trading performance and metrics for each evaluation and access the trading terminal for the evaluation.

You can find detailed information on supported Evaluation Plans and Trading Venues in our documents.

In the trading dashboard, you'll also find a dedicated section where you can manage your payouts and account settings.

II. Trading Terminal

To provide the fairest simulated trading environment for traders, our trading environment is built on perpetual futures liquidity sourced from decentralized exchanges, making it unique and the first of its kind in the trader funding space.

Our simulated trading environment is designed to reflect the real market conditions of the integrated decentralized exchange. By integrating DEX's liquidity, we offer unmatched transparency into the price feed and trading costs, providing you with the same trading experience as you would face using the decentralized crypto exchange directly.

With our in-house trading terminal, you have access to 230+ crypto trading pairs.

You can find the detailed information about trading the trading conditions of the decentralized venues integrated into our simulated trading environment and full list of available trading pairs here.

III. The carrotfunding.io Vault

Every time a trader purchases an evaluation, 50% of the fee is automatically deposited into our on-chain vault. This vault is entirely transparent and open to the public, with full access to evaluation pass rates and payout details. Anyone can verify its balance and activity directly on the blockchain at any time. It's designed to back the performance of funded traders and ensure that when a payout is earned, the capital is verifiably there.

In simple terms, you're not trading against a black box like with traditional trader funding firms or retail brokers. The Vault ensures funds are present, visible, and managed with accountability. This reduces counterparty risk, instead of taking a private company's word for it, you can verify everything for yourself.

More importantly, this model not only enables you to scale your strategy with us, but it also helps build your credibility beyond our platform. Once you're a funded Carrot trader and your trades go live, your performance becomes an on-chain, verifiable track record. This serves as proof of your consistency and trading edge, something that can help open doors with other serious institutions looking for capable traders able to deliver solid returns. It's not just a payout. It's a receipt that you know what you're doing and you can prove it.
